Alexandros Kallegias

Dr. Alexandros Kallegias is the Division Head of Building Information Modelling (BIM) at AKTOR Group of Companies, an ISO 19650-certified BIM professional, and a Senior Architect with extensive experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

He completed his PhD with the UK Transformation Northwest, focusing on the integration of environmental data in the AEC sector. He holds an M.Arch & Urbanism from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and a Dipl. Arch in Architectural Engineering from the University of Patras.

Before joining AKTOR, Alexandros worked as a Senior Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, contributing to major international, mixed-use projects. His expertise includes BIM management, digital design innovation, and sustainable architectural practice, with experience across cultural, commercial, and residential developments in Greece and abroad. He is a registered architect with both the Architects Registration Board (UK) and the Greek Chamber of Architects.

Alongside his professional work, Alexandros has taught at leading UK institutions including the Architectural Association, the Bartlett, Oxford Brookes University, Cardiff University, and the University of Liverpool. His research has been presented and published internationally in peer-reviewed journals and conferences such as eCAADe, CAAD Futures, and SimAUD.
