Theodoros Tzaveas

Theodoros Tzaveas is the Project Manager for the Independent Engineer (JV OMEK Consulting Engineers SA – AECOM LTD) on the Egnatia Odos Concession Project, responsible for the Imminent and Heavy Maintenance Works phase. He is a PMP®-certified senior engineering executive with more than 30 years of international experience in the planning, management, and delivery of major highway and infrastructure programs. His career is distinguished by long-term, high-impact roles working directly for major public-sector clients on multibillion-euro infrastructure projects. For 16 years, he held senior positions at Egnatia Odos S.A. in Greece, contributing to the development and delivery of the €6.5 billion Egnatia Odos motorway. Since 2012, he has served with Ashghal, Qatar’s Public Works Authority, contributing to key expressway and urban infrastructure programs, including the Bustan South Elevated Expressway. He combines deep technical knowledge with a client-focused approach, consistently ensuring that authority-client requirements, engineering standards, and delivery targets are met or exceeded.
