Nick Zygouris

Nick ZYGOURIS was born in 1968 in Greece.
He graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens (1991) and he was awarded his MSc degree from UMIST and PhD degree from National Technical University of Athens in the field of the seismic design of reinforced concrete structures.
Nick ZYGOURIS is the founder and basic stakeholder of LITHOS Consulting Engineers, and he has been involved in the structural design of various complex structures and big projects.
Nick ZYGOURIS is participating as lecturer in the MSc Course on Management and Construction of projects organized by the National Technical University of Athens.
In parallel with his professional activities, Nick ZYGOURIS has written several books and scientific papers in his field and has been an active member of various National and International scientific committees such as Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization of Greece, European Centre on Prevention and Forecasting of Earthquakes, Federation International du Beton e.tc.
Nick ZYGOURIS was elected as member of the Executive Board of the Association of Civil Engineers of Greece in 2000 and in 2010 was elected President of the Association.
Nick ZYGOURIS is now elected in the executive committee of the World Federation fo Engineering Organizations (WFEO).
