Dr. Panagiota Alafogianni

Dr. Panagiota Alafogianni graduated from the School of Engineering at the University of Ioannina in 2013, earning a degree in Materials Science Engineering. In 2019, she received her PhD in Materials Science Engineering, with her doctoral research focusing on the “Study of dispersion, environmental response, and durability of nanocomposite construction materials.” Her work has been published in scientific journals.

Between 2019 and 2020, she worked at Geotest S.A., a construction quality control and engineering consultancy firm, serving as a quality control engineer for construction materials on-site. She later continued her career in ready-mix concrete plants as a quality control manager.

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Technical Department of PENETRON HELLAS S.A., contributing to the company’s scientific development, university and accredited laboratory collaborations across Southeastern Europe, and supporting the engineering team promoting PENETRON technologies to construction companies, developers, designers, and consulting engineers.

As of April 2025, she has also taken on the role of Lead Engineer at the Concrete and Mortar Laboratory of PENETRON HELLAS S.A.
