Thanos Kapsalis

Thanos Kapsalis is a graduate Civil Engineer from the University of Patras, combining deep Civil Engineering expertise with Data Science and AI to advance project delivery and organisational performance. Having begun his career as a Structural Engineer and Project Engineer, he later progressed to Project Manager and Team Lead, contributing to major projects across Greece and Cyprus. This hands-on progression—from structural design and supervision to budgeting, coordination, and team leadership—has given him a comprehensive understanding of construction operations, risks, and challenges. As COO at Design Inspiration Group, he leads strategy, product development, and operations for FlowStructAI, the company’s flagship platform that applies LLMs, computer vision, and automation to transform fragmented construction data into real-time project intelligence. His work focuses on bridging engineering with emerging technologies, helping organisations adopt AI-powered tools that reduce delays, optimise resources, and enhance productivity.
